While this is in NO way a cooker (or Mandrake;s fault)...
I have noticed many nice applications do not install in new cooker
(Mandrake 8.2) due to a missing libpng.so.3,
such as Opera, (already sent a message to them) Winamp and many others.
most of them still use old libpng.so.2...
Is there something I can do to share both libpng.so.2 and libpng.so.3
without compromising stability, conflicting libraries and dependancy issues?
At least untill all this apps catch up with the new (Cooking) of Mandrake 8.2
