the best way for reporting errors is to send the /root/report.bug (when you managed to finish the install), or the /tmp/ddebug.log during the install (the "bug" command can help (type it on console 2)) as for your "Net::FTP: Timeout" error, it's a known bug that is fixed in next DrakX upload (#1.625)
