While trying to get some people started with Mandrake on irc, it appears that one of the big obstacle is the difficulty to edit a very simple text config file. Very often, people are booting windows to come asking for help and it is quite hard to explain how they will have to use vi after rebooting. There is a need for a very simple editor installed by default that does not use Ctrl-K D to save a file, and that uses correctly the del and backspace key. The only one we found (thx Woody) coming close to this is pico, but it is embedded in the pine rpm, and i don't know if this package is intalled by default. Cheers, =-= kk1
