Hi, It seems that the following card(s):
Card:S3 968 (generic)" "S3 Inc.|86c968 [Vision 968 VRAM] have trouble with default mandrake setup (XF3/server:S3) (it even screwed up my text console on the machine I saw that, so nothing but a reboot!), but works with XF4/server:vesa.
