Are you running Nvidia's proprietary module, or the
open source one?  It works for me with the open source
(nv, comes with X, NVidia's is nvidia) one.  With
Nvidia's I get...confused!  I swear it used not to
work.  Yesterday I just removed the loading of some
extensions (record, pex5, and xie) from my
XF86Config-4 file, I bet that had something to do with
it!
