You should really check apt in contrib.
If you wont to install package A but it conflicts with B and C requires B
you have to remove B & C and only then you will be able to install A
without any cpmplay frpm package manager.

So if you wont to remove initscripts basesystem pakage will complain and
it up to you, if you know what are you doing you can force it or leave it.
