Hd.img install, ext3 -> ext3, no Nvidia tested - later, secure level 4 = high.
1)
Summary - install printer -> cups -> clicks on add a new printer -> complete
hang = mouse movable but no icons clickable. Ctrl-Alt-F3:
Perl v.18.84.584 required -- this is only v.5.6.1 stopped at
/usr/bin/perl-install/interactive.pm 279
Ctrl-Alt-F2 + Ctrl-Alt-Del -> new install with no printer.

Bootdisk OK.

Still no /mnt/hd after boot. I think it is OK to simplify the boot and use
ext2 instead of a detected ext3. But it ought to be possible to memorize this
decission and before ending write the exact fs in the partition table so that
it and fstab are in sync.
4)
In KDE both Konqueror and Mozilla dies at launch, i.e. window is opened but
only for part of a second.
Launches OK from konsole window.
did a strace as root and found among other things when search on '= -1'
open("/lib/i686/mmx/konqueror.so", O_RDONLY) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or
directory)
..
access("/etc/menu/disable_mdk_customization", F_OK) = -1 ENOENT (No such file
or
directory)
