You did not understand the problem. Detectloader looks in MBR and partition boot block for loader signature(s). The problem is, when you first installed grub (not RPM but *loader*) and then installed lilo (not RPM again) lilo does not overwrite GRUB signature. So detectloader thinks GRUB is still in use. -andrej
