Seems to absolutely want to be in 640x480 [with circuslinux] but
kernel panics when I try to vga=785 :-)).

In 800x600 with penguin-command, I can see that it is "unable to
open mouse" though I've never used SDL in console as you guessed,
yet it eventually stops because of undefined symbol in mcop.so.0
:-).

Any idea where the mouse problem could come from anyway?
