There is not work needed to be done to apt itself to have it work with mandrake. The only thing needed is to keep the package lists on the server updated. I agree that work needs to be done on rpmdrake/urpmi but I also think we should keep apt available. It's all about choice! I personally prefer apt but I know there are those that prefer urpmi. It can't be that hard to allow both to function. There is no need to repress one or the other. Let there be choice. :) Michael
