That's actually the supermount module doing it's thing. You can disable
it in /etc/fstab. I gotta agree with you tho.... It's a great concept,
but waaayyyyy to sensitive..... It adds a significant amount of time to
the KDE startup on my poor old 550 PIII.
OT: I have been using RedHat for years now, and just started playing
with Mandrake..... I only have one thing to say about it.... Fscking
awesome!
I have installed 8.1 on my wife's machine to ease her transistion to
linux, and I just got 8.2 installed on my personal machine.
