I compiled the 2.4.17 mdk kernel. I enabled the supermount using "supermount
enable" and tried to use the cdrom.

Segmentation fault ever time. I began trying to find the problem by editing
the options in fstab. If I remove the umask option it works fine. I know some
options do not work with auto but I tried vfat and ext2 they are not the
problem.

Supermount with umask seg-faults when done like this...
/mnt/cdrom /mnt/cdrom supermount fs=auto,dev=/dev/cdrom,umask=0,ro,exec 0 0

This does not seg-fault
/mnt/cdrom /mnt/cdrom supermount fs=auto,dev=/dev/cdrom,ro,exec 0 0
