Very good. The idea of freezing up the playfield instead of coating it with 
skulls is a distinct improvement. On my one run-through I got to level 27, 
are there skull-equivalents (ie bubbles which you don't shoot) in later 
levels?

The shots need to be a little more ``slippery'' so you can sneak them through 
gaps.

I think the Snood people are going to be a bit unhappy about a ripoff of 
their game-play, which they claim to have copyrighted. You might consider a 
mechanism for ``putting English on the ball'' (shift keys?) to make the 
gameplay significantly different.

I'm impressed that the whole thing was written in PERL, it seems an odd form 
of masochism. (-:

Now - for the next month or so at least - can we please focus on making 8.2 
perfect? (-:
