[Cooker] Trident 9397DVD driver still broken

Hello,

        If we're getting close to release time..  the driver for Trident chips 
doesn't work in the latest XFree86 with the Trident 9397DVD in Gateway 
laptops.  The display works with the XFree86-4.1.0 driver, however it gives
an undefined reference for one of the variables (better report will follow)..

        Any chance of the old driver being recompiled and included as an alternate?
It is SERIUOSLY broken.
