Hello, It took a great amount of time to compil XFree86-4.2.0-2mdk with a patch sent from Marcus Metzler which allow xv for DVB...
It was done by changing XFree86-4.spec in adding a patch100:

Patch10: XFree86-4.0.99.3-parallelmake.patch.bz2
Patch100: XFree86-v4l.patch.bz2
Patch200: XFree86-xfs-fix.patch.bz2
...
%patch0 -p1 -b .4.0.3
%endif
%patch100 -p0 -b .v4l.c
bzcat %{SOURCE204} >
xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/input/wacom/xf86Wacom.c
...
And that way, I got a newer
BUILD/XFree86-4.2.0/xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/drivers/v4l/v4l_drv.o
which I put on /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/linux/v4l_drv.o and
everything worked just fine ;-)
Today, there is a new XFree rpm, could I upgrade my system, and still
relacing v4l_drv.o by the one I compiled, and it will work?
Any chance to have the patch included in Mandrake?
