Hi I have noticed this problem with 8.1 and aboove. My rpmdrake doesn't work well if I have a proxy installed and specified. I get the following error always.

But there is no ftp proxy. HTTP proxy name is given correctly as ev. variable (http_proxy="http://server.mydomain.com:8080/"; and also in File->proxies menu. Can somebody help me in correcting this. THis stops me from updating any packages from web using MandrakeUpdate.
