Before my old laptop was stolen, I had problems with my Xircom Realport card.
I was upgrading from one version of MDK to another, and suddenly discovered
that the Realport card no longer worked properly.

I discovered that Xircom had released a flash upgrade to the card during the
months in between the two versions of Mandrake. I ran the flash upgrade and
the card began working fine. It appeared that the new version of the driver
was expecting that the user had run the flash upgrade.

I would try going to Xircom's website and download and run the latest update.
That /might/ fix your problem... if not, then it might be something more
serious that needs to be addressed.
