I really like rsync which I use every day, but today:
rsync: open connection using ssh XXXX rsync --server --sender -vlogDtprz
\ . YYYYYY
receiving file list ... done
...
deflate on token returned -2 (700 bytes left)
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at
token.c(288)
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (23654 bytes read so far)
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(140)
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (23638 bytes read so far)
