Trying to burn a CD with gcombust I have the following error message: /usr/bin/cdrecord: No such file or directory. Cannot open '/dev/sg*'. Cannot open SCSI driver. /usr/bin/cdrecord: For possible targets try 'cdrecord -scanbus'. Make sure you are root.
So as root I do the following as suggested: [root@bureau root]# cdrecord -scanbus Cdrecord 1.11a13 (i586-mandrake-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2001 Jrg Schilling cdrecord: No such file or directory. Cannot open '/dev/pg*'. Cannot open SCSI driver. cdrecord: For possible targets try 'cdrecord -scanbus'. Make sure you are root. [root@bureau root]# ls /dev/sg* ls: /dev/sg*: Aucun fichier ou rpertoire de ce type (last one meaning no such file or directory) Any suggestion how to solve that. I need to burn a CD to test beta 2. I could reinstall 8.1 burn the CD then install 8.2beta2 but I prefer to avoid that now. With 8.1 everythings were fine.
