Orignally, ``nobody'' was supposed to exist but own nothing. Processes that 
don't write to disk can be run as ``nobody'' and a simple find command will 
show any transgressions. IIRC, some systems logged and/or completely refused 
writes from processes run as ``nobody'' as a mechanism outside the normal rwx 
permissions.
