I have KDE3 installed, KDEHOME is set to .kde for KDE2 (default) and .kde3 for KDE3. Both were wiped out and recreated anew.
Attempt to start any program under KDE2 results in "hanging" kicker. After exiting started program the message apears "could not start ..." so it looks like kicker does not get some feedback from started program. This has been going on for the last month or so. Nothing whatever in logs. Any info I can collect? I'd rather avoid removing KDE3 because I am not sure problem will be fixed :-) and it is the only working environment here (Gnome is out of question due to i18n problems). -andrej
