Hello,

After running one full day without any problems, suddenly Nautilus is
acting up. It won't draw the desktop icons and background anymore and
won't open a filemanager window. It is listed as a running process.
Killing it only causes a new Nautilus process to be spawned but makes no
difference.

I deleted my .gnome, .gconf and .nautilus directories as well as the
.drakfw file to start from scratch. The first time everything went ok but
upon logging in again the same problem occurs. Rebooting doesn't seem to
magically solve this.

The only "non-default" thing I do is that I run icewm instead of sawfish.
I don't know where I should look for helpful error messages either. Any
suggestions, please?

regards,
