Hi,

Something strange is happening here. I have two hd with linux on the
30MB slave (hdb).

$ grep hdb /etc/fstab
/dev/hdb5 / reiserfs notail 1 1
/dev/hdb6 /home reiserfs notail 1 2
/dev/hdb1 swap swap defaults 0 0

At the first cold boot, hdb capacity is not recognized correctly:

ide0: BM-DMA at 0xb800-0xb807, BIOS settings: hda:DMA, hdb:DMA
hdb: Maxtor 5T030H3, ATA DISK drive
hdb: setmax LBA 60030432, native 4124736
hdb: 4124736 sectors (2112 MB) w/2048KiB Cache, CHS=1024/64/63

Then, as long as I only warm boot the machine, the disk capacity stays
correct:

ide0: BM-DMA at 0xb800-0xb807, BIOS settings: hda:DMA, hdb:DMA
hdb: Maxtor 5T030H3, ATA DISK drive
hdb: 60030432 sectors (30736 MB) w/2048KiB Cache, CHS=14888/64/63

Where is that "native 4124736" coming from? Anyone ever had this
problem? The BIOS seems to recognize the drive correctly at any time.

Thanks,
