Ok, I had a look at drakfont again since nobody seems to have time:)

I think it is not ready for release at all. 

So, again, please some1 with some perl knowledge look at it for an hour or so.

As for the capital issue: I can completly fix it by simple substituting all shell 
calls like "cp *.ttf ../../tmp"  and
"cp *.afm .." etc into: "cp *.[tT][tT][fF]" etc. But I do not think this is the 
correct way. One of the problems is
that you can end up with
Arial__0.ttf   
Arial__0.TTF

(because the first was installed in a different way, but since the name is different, 
drakfont thinks they are the different).
Still, if nobody fixes it I will submit a diff so that at least it works.


Other problems that remain after this:
- - it is not restarting xfs, although it says it does (only calling chkfontpath).
- - it calls:
sh: pfbtops: command not found
- - which is apperently not installed (dependency issue?)
