I have both installed:
-> rpm -qa | grep devel | grep qt
libqt3-devel-3.0.2-1mdk
libqt2-devel-2.3.1-28mdk
Make sure to install it, not upgrade it (-i not -U). It goes into a
completely different directory.

Unfortunatly, i need it to build some software that I want to try:
http://prokyon3.sourceforge.net/
I admin, im not a big qt fan, but this software looks promising. isnt it
possible to install a working qt3-devel without the actual db's installed?
i.e. perl db modules dont *require* mysql and pg to be installed, but the
libraries and clients. shouldnt this be possible for qt3? again, Im
asking out of ignorance here, but it just doesnt make sense for the
current way (not blaming mandrake developers if this is the case).
