Hi

I am unfortunately notable to test my pcmcia now, but
I hope, thanks to GC that I can do it soon.
When I tested mdk 8.1 I found out that I had problems with
apmd, my pcmcia network cards did not get reactivated after
a suspend. I found out that I could get that automatically by
in /etc/sysconfig/apmd to set
PCMCIARESTART="yes"
They say (in the apmd file) that this can slow down things, but then how
much? If is is just a couple of seconds than I already expect that
the powering up will take some seconds, and this setting seems
to be the safer bet.

Kind regards
keld
