My cups was working a bit in 8.2 Beta 3 via localhost:631. I did not try Kups though.
Only problem is at install it detected my HP Deskjet 720 C OK but used the new Deskjet series driver. This is wrong, the 720C is a super cheap (win printer type) printer and need the pnm2ppa type driver.
