It's because of the extra dashes, meanign "kernel" is not the name of the package but kernel-2.4.18.2mdk (apparently). I had always assumed they did this on purpose. This allows you to bypass RPM stupidity with more stupidity so you can install multiple kernels with --force. -- Sincerely, David Walluck <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
