I now got my primary HP 6L printer to work (under beta3) But if I just print out a lpr text file it skips the first line and the first 3 letters in each line are missing, and maybe also some on the end. This is on standard A4 and the printer is set up for standard A4. I tried to use Tills alignprinter program but that missed a .ps file. Anyway for a common printer like the HP 6L and with specific drivers for this in CUPS, this should really work out of the box.
