I'm having a problem getting XFree to work with a laptop that has a Intel
i830M video card. I've attached the contents of the XFree86.0.log file to
the bottom of this e-mail.
>From looking at some of the documentation on the XFree86 website, it looks
like it requires AGP GART support in the kernel. After doing a "lsmod" I
see that that module is running so I'm not sure what the error message is
in reference to. The error I am getting is "Cannot read V_BIOS" message.
My laptop is a new Dell Latitude C400. The install is the latest Mandrake
8.2 Beta 4.
Please let me know if there is any other information I can provide to
assist in the troubleshooting of this issue.
