The grsecurity patch, however, only deals with pseudo ACLs (sockets etc) 
I believe, whereas the ACL mentioned in the beginnning of this thread 
relate to POSIX-ACLs for files, which have been supported for quite a 
while (AFAIK).

However, I have not been able to use the acl tools (getfacl and setfacl) 
on XFS filesystems, whereas it was working from samba last time I tested 
that ...
