[Cooker] Upgrade

Can you tell me if it is reasonable to upgrade the beta4 to lastest bugfixes 
via a modem line ?
Is there a sort of mdkfreq to update my configuration ?
I have a fast (real fast) connection at work, so i can download what i want, 
but at home only a modem.
I think you can see my point.
