Yet, it was a mistake, when i selected PAL-N, of course, i needed secam to 
have a clear image, but the problem is that if you select pal-n, and it is 
certainly needed for another country, or even in France for satellite or so, 
you have the message above.
So, consider changing PAL-N or pal-n to paln in .xawtv as a bugfix, and so on 
for the other parameters (consider PAL-M maybe, NTSC-JP ...)
Hopefully, it did the mistake, so now you can correct it !
