In that setup, the freetype2-util package including the "ttmkfdir"
tool is not installed. When I try to use drakfont to install the Windows
fonts, it does everything right, but
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/drakfont/ttf/fonts.dir is an empty file. The
reason is that ttmkfdir is not found and fonts.scale consequently empty.
(got that from "explanations", thanks for providing them).

The effect is that the Windows fonts are only available (under X) in the
Postscript versions drakfont generated (encoding "adobe-fontspecific"),
all the other encodings are missing.

I think drakfont should depend on ttnkfdir, or auto-install it
when truetype conversion is needed.

I had this problem wit beta3 and beta4, in both cases I did not
deselect any packages individually.
