Clean install saving only /home and /home/safe.

800 Duron
444MB ram
Radeon 32MB DDR
DVD,CD-rw,USB-Zip,Linksys 10/100,SBLive,Logitech Optical USB MousemanWheel.

I have noticed with other installs but had never thought to mention.
During package selection I choose pkg A and pkgs B and C are added as requires.
If I then unselect and choose not to install pkg A, pkgs B and C are Still installed.

Printer connected locally through an auto switch can not be set-up during installation.
It gives a can't initialize lp0 error, after install setup is no problem.

During X configuration, I was under the impression that both the ati2 and the ati.old
drivers were included but no choice is given.
Problem-if the More option is selected the configuration will complete even if No
Resolution is chosen.

Installation aftermath.
Tested all drives, network, mcc, and various other apps.
All passed with no problems.

The only problem was the MouseMan Wheel.
Had set-up and tested during installation as USB wheel mouse but now the wheel would
not function.
Checked XF86Conf-4 and found the the Chord Middle option was # out.
Removed the # and wheel now functions properly.

Not to sound too pleased but at the RC1 stage 8.2 is far better and more bug free than
either 8.0 or 8.1 as finals.
