Had big troubles installing the network card on my notebook (I'll note that
my desktop install went very smoothly. I'd say it was the cleanest mdk
install I've ever had, and would rate it as among the cleanest OS installs
that I've ever had.)

One problem (that seems worth noting) is the fact that I had to manually
create the links in the rc?.d directories to have the PCMCIA service start at
boot time... I tried (twice) to enable it from Control
Center/System/Services, but it refused to take. Is it disabled for some
reason?

If anyone is interested, I'll try to detail the problems I had with the net
card as well (but I gather that there are "known issues"...) I did get it
working, after spending the better part of the day tweaking pcmcia/config
(probably not this sort of thing you'd want a first time customer to go
through...) If this is a known bug, sorry, but I did search for it... (Is
there an archive for this list?)

BTW, I REALLY ENJOY NOT BEING ABLE TO POST MY BUG REPORTS TO BUGZILLA! No,
Really! It makes me feel like I'm making a difference...
