Hi, I just installed a fresh Cooker and imported verdana, tahoma and trebuchet using drakfont.
When choosing the fonts in KControl they all look identical to Helvetica. I don't know if it's related but the encoding for the new fonts all stand on "default", I can't select iso8859-1 or anything else. Now, when turning anti-aliasing on it works. Isn't it usually the other way around? And now I get several choices outside of "default" encoding, for the new fonts. So, in non anti-aliasing mode I can't use the new fonts (although their names appear in the list) and when using anti-aliasing I can use them. I didn't have this problem with Mandrake 8.1. Tell me if you want me to look for anything special in the system. Regards, Mattias
