I've been complaining about this for about 3 weeks now. it dates back
further than rc1.i also have to shut off the screensaver and apci or
else they turn on all the time randomely. This happens with my voodoo3
3000 and my radeon 8500. It happens in gnome kde2 and kde3. I've been
trying to troubleshoot everything so as not to sound to wierd when I
submit my report. The only real thing of info that I got was that whe
nthe xscreensaver turned on randomely every 4 or 5 seconds even when I
was using the keyboard and mouse it printed this error at the top of the
screen:
xscreensaver 13:31:31 couldn't grab pointer (already grabbed)
I hope you mandrake guys can use this as I sure whould hate to try to
use this system this way.
As for the freezing it hapens on all kinds of apps. I have to shut it
down by the power button every 30minutes to 4 hours or so. It's real
random about locking up. the only thing different is that my home
directory has been converted to xfs. Everything is the same as it always
has been. But xfs shouldn't be causing these kinds of problems.
