- the Club is pure profit for Mandrake - with the PowerPack on MandrakeStore, the cost of building the box/manuals/cds is lost (the shipping cost is also lost, but its price is added to the total price)
- with the PowerPack in a shop, much less is earned by mandrake (the shop takes its percentage, the shipping is costly...) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i would drop the US$60.00 for the club in a heartbeat if i could get 1 a dvd with the full 8.2 distro shipped to arrive "day of release" for retail cost of the rom and shipping 2 a "live filesystem" cd Of course if you really wanted to play you could send somebody to fort worth TX to talk to Leonhard Roberts (your US shipping cost goes bye-bye)
