Well when I tried it I did not unmount and it worked. Actually the worst
thing that could happen is that supermount access will fail ...
... thinking more about it ...
... yes, I guess in the case ide-cd -> ide-scsi. Switching back may be
trickier because supermount does hold device open and it may not be
possible to cleanly unregister it. But if the only reason is to start
cdrecord, we do not supermount SCSI so all is well.
