Tried dual PPro with 160M and a /usr split in RAID0 between a scsi and an ide drive, running RC1 VIA C3 with 256Mb and 40Gb Maxtor with Beta 4 Duron 750 with 128M and 15G Beta 3 Athlon 800 with 512M and RAID0 arrangements on all partitions except /boot Beta 2 K6-2 350 with 64M and SCSI/IDE drives RC1 (updated from 8.1) P2-300 with 192M and 12G Hdd. 8.2b1 Every single one did just fine. What is different about your machine? We really need to know, because no one should be seeing this behavior. Civileme
