I have installed 8.2 firstofall in my laptop and then in my main computer; thesse are the first results

Remote CUPS runing fine Supermount fine Partitions: all XFS file system (except swap) Problems: 1) detected 2 usb-uhci.c ports!!!! 2) /mnt/floppy and /mnt/floppy2!!! what's the meaning of the second innacessible floppy????? I mark it in fstab and now just appear floppy one 3) Trident driver the same problems with full games that in 8.1; I change the tdrv driver for one I downloaded from internet for 8.1 and now it is runing almost fine. 4) Xdos is still crashing if you use a real Ms-Dos system. I wrote several times that the md8 packages of dosemu and xdos were bad, but nobody in the mandrake team seemed to hear me :-(. PENTIUM III 800MHz, 256Mb Ram Philips 107S monitor Voodoo3 3000 Creativelab 128 PCI hda: Quantum fireballp Lm30 (2 vfat16 partitions, with windows98) hdb:WDC WD200BB-32CLB0 (several XFS partions and the swap partition) hdc:Sony CD-RW CRX160E hdd:Hitachi DVD-Rom GD-7000 1 floppy 1.44 Mb Epson Stylus Color 760 usb printer Hp LaserJet 4L parallel printer Scanner Epson Perfection 1200Usb AvermediaTVCapture98 eth0:Digital DS21143 (for laptop conection) eth1:3c900 Boomerang 10baseT (cable modem conected) 2 usb ports Internet conection fine; ipmasquering fine; ssh fine, ftp fine. Scannerdrake fine, installing xsame and xsane-gimp automatically. Xine almost fine; with css libs I reach even to watch encripted dvds. kwintv fine xawtv: fine (but the icon created in the desktop of kde was very difficult to delete). Problems: 1) Start floppy: a warning when preparing it: due to XFS root partition perhaps to big to make a start floppy. Finally: error.!!!! 2) Xdos: crashes if you use a real MS-DOS system 3) Xcdroast: don't read any audio nor data disk. Simply doesn't work. I mentioned the problem in beta 4 and rc1; solved installing cdrecord, mkisofts and xcdroast from 8.1, but It should be resolved. 4) Rpminst fine, even changing cds, but not with Openoffice; again it can't find the libs in the cd1. I install previously the libs from cd1 and then openoffice. 5) Kylix: error, don't run. I will test it late, but perhaps need and older version of a lib???? Preliminary conclusions: The best linux for desktop I ever seen, but some of the problems (xcdroast and xdos) should be solved; more than a month we show them in crashtesters and cooker list.
