Hi!

When I use drakfont to install some TTF fonts, it doesn't add them
correctly to the system. It copies them to
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/drakfont/ttf and they are available on the
system. But this is only (I suppose), because it also converts them to
Type1.

To have them completely (with all the encodings) available, it should
(kinda) do:

cd /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/drakfont/ttf
ttmkfdir -o fonts.scale
mkfontdir
service xfs restart

Only then the font is fully available on the system. Further, I've
installed staroffice-de from Mandrake club on my system. When I enable
"make font available in staroffice", the font is not available in
staroffice. Any ideas about why this is so?

Using drakfont-0.58-20mdk. ttmkfdir is from freetype-tools.
