-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Since I installed Mandrake 8.2 two days ago (and then stayed up many hours playing frozen-bubble :), konqueror has been unable to display .gif images, and my desktop background images don't display. I tried using konqueror and setting a desktop background image as root and a new user, and neither problem caused any trouble, so something must be wrong in my ~. I moved .kde and .kderc, but even though everything else is reset it still doesn't work.
I don't use any other KDE apps that display images (other than icons), but I suspect there's some problem with that. If the problem isn't in .kde, where else would it be?
