If you have gone through and it still pops up you can also edit your local 
kpersonalizerrc:

$KDEHOME/.kde3/share/config/kpersonalizerrc

To have the following in it:

[General]
FirstLogin=false

The KDE login script that Mandrake uses looks there, however for some reason 
this isn't always updated after the first login.
