I got those same errors when I tried with eroaster-2.0.12-2mdk.

You need to dl either the 2.1.0 tar.gz or the 2.1.0 src.rpm change the spec. and build 
an rpm.
Once the new rpm is installed then copy Tim's patches to /usr/lib/eroaster.
Eroaster will now both run and be able to detect your recorder.
I did this yesterday and it works.

If you would like I can spend you the spec I used or even send you the
2.1.0 rpm (it's 245Kb).
Just let me know.
