[Cooker] /etc/urpmi/skip.list

How/when/why are entries added to the skip.list auto deleted?

I had added xinitrc to the file but today when I ran urpmi --auto-select, xinitrc is 
the pkg selected.

Checking /etc/urpmi/skip.list there now no entries.
