it will not build with 3.0 i think but CC=gcc i.e. 2.96 export IGNORE_CC_MISMATCH=1 rpm --rebuild NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-2880.src.rpm
kernel was built using gcc=30 what ever that means but i have gcc3.0-3.0.4-5mdk and i tried to export CC=gcc-3.0 and it didn't work Wed Apr 10 2002 Juan Quintela <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 1-1mdk - we need to have installed jadetex for kernel-doc*. - disabling install headers part of alsa. - disable NETLINK_DEV, that is an obsolete option, looking how many things we break. - disable CONFIG_IP_ROUTE_LARGE_TABLES, as this is only for people with more than 64 route entries (i.e. almost nobody). - more compilation fixes (P1405). - remove P401 (i2o driver), not needed. - remove P422 (cramfs spinlock) not needed, Christopher Hewling. - jfs 1.0.17. - reddiff compilation fixes & endif patches. - don't try to install as root (P821) (alsa). - rediff grsecurity patch. - rediff kdb patch to fix the FRAME_POINTER merged parts. - remove P206 (sard), included upstream. ->>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> use gcc30 by default. - alsa 0.9.10pre12. - 2.4.19-pre6. - 2.4.18-10.mdk. The smallness of it is what's attractive. It's weird, 'cause it's so intellectually lame. It's hard to see me doing that for the rest of my life.
