Hello, oups, we have forgotten this known small bug (yahoo messenger, irc, etc are on comma-separated list taken from the old version and this had to be adapted to the new system). We will fix it ASAP, thank you for reminding us that. > Another bug is transparent proxy: I can have it working only writing by > myself iptables rules, because if I try throught the interface the proxy > traffic is denied for some reason I did not investigate. what do you mean the proxy thraffic is denied ? Do you have any error message on a blue screen ? In that case you might have activated squidGuard or/and Dansguardian (url filtering or/and content filtering) that need to be configured too. The transparent proxy works fine here but make sure you have masqueraded your internal network. > The nect days I planned to try TOS and VPN features, but now I have 2 > questions: > > 1) Is a mistake of mine that Squid do not work ? yes, I think so because it works fine here but I'll check again anyway. > 2) How long time for a stable release (I see help pages are not ready, > so I think SNF is still under developing) > The documentation team is working on the help pages and everything should be finished by the end of the month. The fonctional part is practically ready. cheers, -- Florin http://www.mandrakesoft.com
