The thing is that I did like this "for i in *.rpm; do urpmi --auto $i; done" This way the hdlists file was uncompressed (and analysed) at each invocation of urpmi. People on the list suggested --auto-select which seems to be faster if you have the nerves to wait ;) Usally I only use "rpm", the urp* tools is new and unfamiliar to me, but I'm slowly getting there.
